So, my boyfriend has just buggered off on this amazing trip to Peru (Lima and the Incas), Chilli (Santiago), Ushuaia -> Antartica, then London for a week and Hong Kong for four days, as of Wednesday night, so two days ago.

And the reason I didn't go was because I only met him like 4 months ago and he'd been planning this trip for a while so meh, it happens.
I'm also re-reading Temple by Matthew Reilly as Jack goes through Peru. I'm so envious that he gets to see what I'm only reading about abet from a great author. Incas!!!

But, I decided to keep myself busy over the next 6 weeks by planning a few projects and hanging out with a wonderful group of friends. One of those is a 46 day journal, another is working, sorting my newly renovated room out perfectly and a photo journal.

The 46 Days photo album has a have at least one photo for each day, including the day he gets back, plus a caption + corresponding journal entry. I'll be posting them as I edit/pretty them up with captions.
Hopefully, I'll be able to follow this all the way through and make a book out of it after Jack gets back on Feb 23rd, the day uni starts ironically, but I don't think we'll be going to uni that day.

Also, as my friend has a PS3 I've been playing Tomb Raider: Underworld in pieces but while the graphics are stunning, the combat improving (effing spiders go splat when you squash them!) and the storyline is indepth and enjoyable, I still cannot believe how god awful the camera is.
The amount of times I've been killed already (before I figured out why) due to jumping near a corner while fighting an enemy and becoming stuck due the camera is ridiculous. And I'm only halfway through Thailand! 7.5 out of 10. Fix the camera whoever has taken over this great series.
But since I'm a devoted fan I'll keep playing Tomb Raider for many years to come, but it would be nice if the camera were much much better. Finished ranting now.
